Black Château is a creative agency that helps authors and brands share their stories through PR, marketing, and events.
They also run Books That Make You and The BookFest, helping writers and readers connect in a more personal way.

WHAT I DID

I helped with content writing, social posts, and community tasks for The BookFest and Books That Make You. I also supported influencer matching for author campaigns and worked with the newsletter team on tone and layout.

It was a kind, creative space where ideas were shared and everyone had a voice.

THE BOOKFEST

Helped create posts and highlights for a virtual book festival that featured authors like James Dashner and Josh Malerman. The event even made it to the NASDAQ board in New York, which was a proud moment for the team.

AUTHOR INFLUENCER WORK

Helped find BookTok and Bookstagram creators who matched each author’s tone and story.

BOOKS THAT MAKE YOU NEWSLETTER

Helped plan content and tone for a newsletter that grew to 20,000 readers and later received a Webby Award.
